Come and visit the State Records of South Australia archive and get a behind the scenes tour of one of the biggest archival collections in the country. State Records staff will guide you through the Gepps Cross facility, provide some background about the collection, and you will be able to view historic original records on display.  Bookings essential.

Explore the surprising stories of humans and animals through archival records and vote for your favourite! Join us to discover the fascinating connections between humans and animals revealed through records from our collections.

We’ll share stories that highlight the special roles animals have played in our communities. From working dogs in Antarctica to other cuddly critters, we’ll reveal surprising stories that showcase the special roles animals have in our lives and society. After each round exploring these stories, vote for the animal tale that captured your imagination the most.
