--- Classroom Training and COVID-19 ---

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Training for Accredited and Non-Accredited FOI Officers has been postponed. It is not possible to determine a future date at this time.

In the interim, as all agencies automatically have at least one Accredited Officer, their Principal Officer / Chief Executive, the making of FOI determinations should be able to continue and not be impacted by any delay in the delivery of training.

However, if your agency has an urgent need for an officer to undertake training so they can be designated as an Accredited Officer for your agency, please let us know via email at Staterecords@sa.gov.au.  An urgent need might arise where the previous Accredited Officer is leaving the agency or going on extended leave; or if the agency is experiencing a significant increase in applications.

This decision is being made to support the public effort to minimise the risk to the health, safety and welfare of the community of South Australia.


We currently offer classroom and online FOI courses and online Record Management courses.

Over the coming year we will be expanding the number of online education courses we deliver so stay tuned.
