Search by ship name
To find the name of the ship go to the Ships Arriving at South Australian Ports page. Ships Arriving at South Australian Ports By ship name 1836 to 1900 (GRG56/68/4) is a list of ships arriving in South Australia from overseas from 1836 to 1900. The entries are from newspapers, printed sources and government lists.
Passenger lists dating from 1845 to 1886 record emigrants selected by the Colonisation Commissioners London. Their passage was paid for from the Emigration Fund, they are referred to as assisted passengers.
Passenger lists dating from 1888 to 1940 are the official passenger lists for people arriving in Port Adelaide from overseas.
