Series are registered and given a GRS number as part of the transfer process to document a unique set of records and the recordkeeping system they were part of.

Exemptions required for storing permanent and unsentenced records with Approved Storage Providers (ASPs).

Transfer Standard

State Records accepts transfers of official records of enduring value which are older than 15 years, and no longer required for current administrative use.
